In 2018, we partnered with Klean Kanteen, a market leader in BPA-free drinking bottles and food containers, to bring you a Little Sun bottle made from durable stainless steel. This summer, Klean Kanteen and Little Sun are collaborating again on a new, limited edition canteen featuring the popular “Holding hands with the sun” design created for Olafur Eliasson’s exhibition, In Real Life.
Harness the natural power of sunlight and water with this unique collaboration from Little Sun and Klean Kanteen. Our new reusable water bottle fuels you on every adventure, from your commute to work, to your next hot day at the lake.
Klean Kanteen is a long-time partner of Little Sun. As a fellow B Corp-certified company and a member of 1% for the Planet, Klean Kanteen’s environmentally-minded and fair-trade-focused philosophy aligns deeply with our own.
Our first Klean Kanteen bottle featured a black and white design with a powder-coat finish. This year we offer a slick, stainless steel design, which reads “Holding hands with the sun” against a yellow circle. This design was previously only available on our popular tote bag, which launched in 2019 at the opening of Olafur Eliasson’s exhibition In Real Life at Tate Modern.
The design is based on the idea of working with a central source of energy to bring light to the world, while the circle represents both the sun and the cycle of renewable, solar energy.
For a limited time, you can buy the 800 mL bottle via our web shop, or from Klean Kanteen. We also offer a special bundle of one bottle and one Little Sun Original solar lamp. With this unbeatable duo, you will surely stay hydrated and keep energized wherever you go!
As always, every purchase you make of Little Sun products helps us to continue our mission by connecting communities that need power to natural, renewable solar energy at a locally affordable price.
Likewise, our collaborator Klean Kanteen has donated more than $1 million of its sales to environmental causes since 2008. Klean Kanteen’s emphasis on environmental protection, fair working conditions, and creating high-quality reusable products that are both plastic and toxin-free makes them a company we are happy to “hold hands with” for years to come.
