“#AbsolutLittleSun” Bar at Coachella Festival
In April 2014, Little Sun spent a wonderful two weekends in the California desert sun! At the famous Coachella music festival, Little Sun partnered with Absolut to bring festival goers a unique interactive experience that raised awareness about solar energy access for all – the #AbsolutLittleSun Bar!
Located right next to the biggest music stage, the #AbsolutLittleSun Bar was a big hit. The words on the brightly coloured walls told the story of the Little Sun global project, outlining how buying one Little Sun in an area with electricity delivers one Little Sun to an off-grid African community at a locally affordable price.
Festivalgoers listened to some great beats, sipped delicious custom cocktails, and made their own Sunlight Graffiti images with Little Sun solar lamps! People could choose whether to have their graffiti image emailed to them, or posted to their Facebook or Twitter pages.
