Little Sun meets IKEA: Launching a sustainable living collaboration to raise awareness for energy access for all
At Little Sun we are all about sharing the awesome power of the sun with as many people as possible, raising awareness for energy access for all and promoting a sustainable lifestyle. This is why we are very excited to announce that our mission will be joined by a fantastic partner: IKEA!
By collaborating with IKEA, Little Sun wants to inspire and explore new ways to harness the power of the sun through intelligent and creative design. We aim at bringing this shared knowledge to the IKEA customers, introducing them to portable solar lighting and other off-grid solutions whilst raising awareness for the global need for energy access for all.
So, what does that mean?
It means IKEA and Little Sun will work creating a series of sustainable off-the-grid tools for everyday life, which will be available in the IKEA stores. We want to explore off grid solutions, not only for energy, but also for water and communication. In short, we want to create solutions that make your daily life even more sustainable, renewable and independent!
IKEA as a partner
We expect to work with the best on accessible and affordable design, to reach IKEA’s audience with our solar message – and to take the learning from the collaboration to expand our impact in areas beyond the grid. Little Sun is built on the idea of global collaboration and inclusive positive action, and we are excited that IKEA is joining us in our clean energy initiative.
